2011 marks the 50th anniversary of the founding of Amnesty International, which began with one person and an idea -- to protect the basic dignity and human rights of those imprisoned for their beliefs.
Speicifically, May 28, 2011 marks the 50th anniversary of the founding of Amnesty International. Hans Zimmer and Lorne Balfe wrote the music for the anniversary video. Musicians who participated include Lili Haydn, Aleksey Igudesman, Satnam Ramgotra, Martin Tillman and Michael Hobe. Watch the video and help celebrate human rights globally.
