MICHAEL GIACCHINO's "LAND OF THE LOST" [CD DETAILS]

Will Ferrell stars as has-been scientist Dr. Rick Marshall, sucked into a space-time vortex and spat back through time. Way back. Now, Marshall has no weapons, few skills and questionable smarts to survive in an alternate universe full of marauding dinosaurs and fantastic creatures from beyond our world—a place of spectacular sights and super-scaled comedy known as the Land Of The Lost. Sucked alongside him for the adventure are crack-smart research assistant Holly (Anna Friel) and a redneck survivalist (Danny McBride) named Will. Chased by T-Rex and stalked by painfully slow reptiles known as Sleestaks, Marshall, Will and Holly must rely on their only ally—a primate called Chaka (Jorma Taccone)—to navigate out of the hybrid dimension. Escape from this routine expedition gone awry and they’re heroes. Get stuck, and they’ll be permanent refugees in the Land Of The Lost.

Michael Giacchino, who knows a thing or two about time vortexs and otherworldly adventures, scores a third summer blockbuster, to follow in the wake of Star Trek and Up.

Universal Pictures opens Land Of The Lost nationwide on June 5.

AARON ZIGMAN reunites with the director of "THE NOTBOOK" for "My sister's keeper" [cd]

MY SISTER'S KEEPER Original Motion Picture Soundtrack Music Composed by Aaron Zigman

Cameron Diaz
Abigail Breslin

From the Director of THE NOTEBOOK

Sara and Brian Fitzgerald’s life with their young son and their two-year-old daughter, Kate, is forever altered when they learn that Kate has Leukemia. The parents’ only hope is to conceive another child, specifically intended to save Kate’s life. For some, such genetic engineering would raise both moral and ethical questions; for the Fitzgeralds, Sara (Cameron Diaz) in particular, there is no choice but to do whatever it takes to keep Kate alive. And what it takes is Anna.

Kate and Anna share a bond closer than most sisters; though Kate (Sofia Vassilieva) is older, she relies on her little sister — in fact, her life depends on Anna. Until Anna (Abigail Breslin) says “no.” Seeking medical emancipation, she hires her own lawyer, initiating a court case that divides the family and that could leave Kate’s rapidly failing body in the hands of fate.

Based on the bestselling book from Jodi Picoult, My Sister’s Keeper reveals surprising truths that challenge one’s perceptions of family love and loyalty and give new meaning to the definition of healing.

Aaron Zigman contributes one of his most beautiful, touching and sympathetic scores.

New Line Cinema opens My Sister’s Keeper nationwide on June 26.

Ray Romano
John Leguizamo
Denis Leary
Queen Latifah

The sub-zero heroes from the worldwide blockbusters Ice Age and Ice Age: The Meltdown are back, on an incredible adventure ... for the ages. Scrat is still trying to nab the ever-elusive nut (while, maybe, finding true love); Manny (Ray Romano) and Ellie (Queen Latifah) await the birth of their minimammoth, Sid the sloth (John Leguizamo) gets into trouble when he creates his own makeshift family by hijacking some dinosaur eggs; and Diego the saber-toothed tiger (Denis Leary) wonders if he’s growing too “soft” hanging with his pals. On a mission to rescue the hapless Sid, the gang ventures into a mysterious underground world, where they have some close encounters with dinosaurs, battle flora and fauna run amuck – and meet a relentless, one-eyed, dino-hunting weasel named Buck.

After such blockbusters as Shrek, Happy Feet, Horton Hears A Who and Kung Fu Panda, John Powell (The Bourne Trilogy) is the premier composer for characters born of CGI. Powell now returns to add dinosaurs to his menagerie of ogres, penguins, pandas, and Whos.

GABRIEL YARED to score " Coco Chanel and Igor Stravinsky"

Gabriel Yared: Coco Chanel and Igor Stravinsky

Dutch director Jan Kounen's upcoming account of the romance between legendary fashion designer Coco Chanel and composer Igor Stravinsky, taking place in Paris efter Stravinsky's infamous premiere of 'The Rite of Spring', gets an original score composed by Gabriel Yared (The English Patient, Cold Mountain, The Life of Others).

Coco Chanel and Igor Stravinsky is directed by Jan Kounen and comes September 2009. The story is as follows:

Paris 1913. Coco Chanel is infatuated with the rich and handsome Boy Capel, but she is also compelled by her work. Igor Stravinsky's The Rite of Spring is about to be performed. The revolutionary dissonances of Igor's work parallel Coco's radical ideas. She wants to democratize women's fashion; he wants to redefine musical taste. Coco attends the scandalous first performance of The Rite in a chic white dress. The music and ballet are criticized as too modern, too foreign. Coco is moved but Igor is inconsolable. Paris 1920, Coco is newly wealthy and successful but grief-stricken after Boy's death in a car crash. Igor, following the Russian Revolution is now a penniless refugee living in exile in Paris. Coco is introduced to Igor by Diaghilev, impresario of the Ballets Russes. The attraction between them is instant and electric. Coco invites Igor along with his wife - now sick with consumption - together with his four children and a menagerie of birds to stay at her new villa, Bel Respiro, in Garches.
