CHRISTOPHER YOUNG's "THE INFORMERS" [CD]

Composer Christopher Young's got another new CD release out, this time for the movie "The informers".

A remake of the original 1963 British film, The Informers is a 2009 American ensemble film written by Bret Easton Ellis and Nicholas Jarecki and directed by Gregor Jordan. The film is based on Ellis' 1994 collection of short stories of the same name.

Filming took place in Los Angeles, Uruguay, and Buenos Aires. It was the last film for actor Brad Renfro before his death on January 15, 2008 at the age of 25.

An article published by Reuters described the story as "seven stories taking course during a week in the life of movie executives, rock stars, a vampire and other morally challenged characters", set in 1980s Los Angeles.[2] The supernatural content will not be included in the final film, however.[wikipedia]

The Score CD is out since April 21, 2009 and you can listen to SOUND CLIPS from it over at amazon.com by clicking HERE.

CHRISTOPHER YOUNG's "DRAG ME TO HELL" released through LakeShore Records on [CD]

Lakeshore records will be releasing Christopher Young's much awaited new horror score, for the movie "Drag me to Hell".

Drag Me To Hell is a 2009 American horror-comedy film written and directed by Sam Raimi and co-written by his brother Ivan Raimi. It stars Alison Lohman and Justin Long. The film stands as a return to form for Raimi, who had previously earned acclaim for his cult horror series The Evil Dead, before reaching a wider audience with the Spider-Man films.

Christine Brown is an ambitious L.A. loan officer with a charming boyfriend, professor Clay Dalton. Life is good until the mysterious Mrs. Ganush arrives at the bank to beg for an extension on her home loan. Should Christine follow her instincts and give the old woman a break? Or should she deny the extension to impress her boss, Mr. Jacks, and get a leg-up on a promotion? Christine fatefully chooses the latter, shaming Mrs. Ganush and dispossessing her of her home. In retaliation, the old woman places the powerful curse of the Lamia on Christine, transforming her life into a living hell. Haunted by an evil spirit and misunderstood by a skeptical boyfriend, she seeks the aid of seer Rham Jas to save her soul from eternal damnation. To help the shattered Christine return her life to normal, the psychic sets her on a frantic course to reverse the spell. As evil forces close in, Christine must face the unthinkable: How far will she go to break free of the curse? (plot taken from Yahoo! movies' website)
