HOWARD SHORE to score the third TWILIGHT Movie

I'd have never thought that such a mediocre franchise as Twilight would give us a quirky dark score by Carter Burwell, a wondrous and sentimental melodic trip from Alexandre Desplat and now a score by the Lord of the Rings composer, Howard Shore.

It’s fascinating news really, as everyone is satisfied. Both the zombie-like crazy teenage hordes of female fans of Twilight that in the face of the pale and feminine lead vamp they find the true prince of love that understands their feelings and needs unlike the real-life men who are plain pigs and also lovers of quality music can get joy out of such assignment.

The much anticipated HOWARD SHORE's score for "EDGE OF DARKNESS" released on CD

On 22nd February Silva Screen is set to release EDGE OF DARKNESS, Howard Shore’s soundtrack to Martin Campbell’s remake of 1985 BAFTA Award-winning BBC mini-series.

Directed by Martin Campbell (Goldeneye, Casino Royale), and starring Mel Gibson, Edge of Darkness is an emotionally charged thriller that tells a murky story of politics and big business.

This is the fifth release of a Howard Shore soundtrack on the Silva Screen label. Previous releases include The Cell, A History Of Violence, The Departed and The Last Mimzy.
