PATRICK DOYLE to score new animated movie, "SIR BILLI"


According to filmmusicreporter, Patrick Doyle is set to write the original score for the upcoming animated feature Sir Billi.

Directed by Sascha Hartmann and with the voices of Sean Connery, Alan Cumming and even Patrick Doyle himself among others, this new animated adventure will tell the story of a A retired veterinarian living in a remote Scottish village encounters a goat who thinks he's a dog, an Admiral who's afraid of the water and a beaver who was raised by rabbits.

In relevant news, Doyle also has the drama Main Street coming out later this year. In the movie, several residents of a small Southern city whose lives are changed by the arrival of a stranger with a controversial plan to save their decaying hometown. The movie directed by John Doyle stars Colin Firth, Orlando Bloom, Patricia Clarkson, Amber Tamblyn and Ellen Burstyn.
